In this part of the Head kinds of works on repair of the engines which are carried out directly on the car are described. If the engine acted in film from the car and understood, some preliminary operations on dismantling can be excluded.

Shatunnye bearings consist of two loose leaves inserted into a rod and in a cover of a rod. Engine greasing is carried out from the oil pump with a drive from a sock коленвала. Oil passes through маслоприемник with the filter of rough clearing, further through the filter of thin clearing screwed in the block of cylinders of the engine, and moves in lubricant channels in the block of cylinders and картера коленвала from which goes to radical bearings коленвала and to basic necks of a cam-shaft. Shatunnye bearings are greased under pressure through apertures inside коленвала. Cam-shaft cams, cores of valves and other details of the engine are greased разбрызгиванием.
